Tommy Jacobs Golf

Tommy Jacobs or Keith Thomas Jacobs Jr. is a mention worthy American golfer and golf course owner. He was born on February 13th,1935,in Denver Colorado, and like his elder brother John Jacobs has played on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. Tommy Jacobs started into junior golf in South California where he was brought up. Tommy Jacobs’ spectacular performance in the USGA National Junior Championship in 1951,and USGA National Amateurs, led to him getting an opportunity to play in the Masters, at the age of 17,making him the youngest player to do so in 58 years since he got this chance. Tommy Jacobs had his first win in 1958 at the Denver Open ,and his last win at Palm Spring Golf Classic in 1964.He has four PGA Tour events to his name, having made a mark by holding the second place in two championships which were of major importance. Tommy Jacobs has a record of 3-1-1 being a member of the team of 1965 Ryder Cup. In his thirties and forties being The Director of Golf at La Costa Hotel Spa, and The Farms Golf Club he earned a fortune. He went back to play for the Senior PGA Tournaments. Tommy Jacobs played his last game at the Senior Championship 2003.He is the owner of Tommy Jacobs Bel Air Greens and presently lives in Leland,North Carolina.
